This year we saw the queen achieve her platinum Jubilee, having served the country for 70 years.
She became our queen in 1952, and is the longest raining monarch on our history.
The village celebrated in style starting with a the bonfire beacon on Thursday eveining at Manor Farm thanks to David Haines.
Friday The Swan held a beer festival with yummy food and a singer in the evening.
The chequers had an Abba tribute band in the evening.
Some organised street parties and on Sunday the playing field had the big picnic with loads of fun games and a bouncy castle for the children to play in.
Thank you to everyone involved and the parish council for organising the events.
