Do you know of anyone who deserves recognition for an act that they have done for someone?
The Lord Lieutenant is regularly asked to nominate local people, who are highly deserving, i.e. have done something special in their community, to attend events such as Royal Garden Parties, The Princess of Wales annual carol service and one-off events such as national or local concerts.
To help the Lord-Lieutenant determine who should attend these events it is important that he receives nominations from several sources across the City and County. With this in mind, the Lord-Lieutenant is asking for your help and assistance in identifying those individuals who you think should be recognised for what they do in your community. If you have a worthy person and wish to make a nomination please complete the attached form and return it to me.
Anyone you nominate will be included on the Lord-Lieutenant’s database which is referenced when requests for attendance at events are received. Unfortunately, the Lord-Lieutenant cannot guarantee that your nomination will be successful, or the way in which the individual is likely to be recognised, so we must ask that the nominee is not informed that they have been nominated.
Please use the form attached to nominate.
