Macmillan Coffee Morning 2020
This year the usual Macmillan Coffee Morning in the village hall is not being held due to the restrictions imposed by COVID19.
However here are the details of a coffee morning being organised by Greta and her friends.
We lost our close friend and neighbour Richard to cancer in July so on the 12thof September I will be hosting a coffee morning to support Macmillan. This event will be held between 11:30-1:30pm at Melvaig, Manor Road, Ullesthorpe and all funds raised will go to this wonderful charity.
With the aim of the event to raise as much money as possible, we would like a £2 donation for a tea/coffee, a go on the cake game, plus 2 raffle tickets. However if you only want a single item, they will be individually priced as per below: –
Tea/Coffee – £1
Juice – 50p
Cakes biscuits – £1
Games – 50p
Raffle – 50p each or £2 a strip
All of the money that I raise will go to Macmillan coffee morning. Help us stand up to cancer.

Social distancing will be observed. If you don’t mind we ask you to wear a mask when ordering but feel free to take it off when you are drinking your tea/coffee. Gloves will be worn when making the drinks and serving the cakes. Feel free to bring your own mug.
Thank you, Greta
Every September Ullesthorpe hosts a coffee morning to support Macmillan who provide care to those living with cancer.
In 2019 the coffee morning was held on Friday 20th September in Ullesthorpe Village Hall. There was tea, coffee and cake along with a tombola, raffle, bric a brac and a cake stall. The event raised an amazing £951 which will be sent to Macmillan to support their work.
Here are a few photos from the coffee morning 2019.
