Planning for the Harborough Big Green Week, Sept 24th – Oct 2nd, is now well underway, and Sustainable Harborough Community (SHC) would love to hear from any Parish who is keen to get involved. The idea is for local community groups (schools, playgroups, churches, guides, scouts, WI, Young Farmers, environmental groups etc) across Harborough District to run events at any time during that week to celebrate activity that is already underway to protect and enhance the environment, and to help people lead more sustainable lives.

More information can be found on the SHC Website Sustainability | Sustainable Harborough Community | England and you may also be interested in this really useful document from the national organiser of the Great Big Green Week, giving ideas for events that groups might be interested in running: A-Z-of-ideas.pdf (greatbiggreenweek.com)

If you already have an event in mind, do let us know and we can add it to our publicity materials. You can contact us at info@SustainableHarbooughCommunity.co.uk
