A mobile Coronavirus testing unit will open in Lutterworth on Saturday 6th June.

Anyone aged over five with symptoms of Covid-19 is eligible for a drive-through test, although essential workers will be given priority.

Cllr Amanda Nunn, Harborough District Council’s health and well-being Cabinet lead, said: “I would encourage anyone who is exhibiting coronavirus symptoms, particularly key workers, to book an appointment and get tested.

“I am delighted that the Council, having worked with the NHS to help provide temporary testing facilities in Market Harborough recently, is now able to help provide a similar facility in Lutterworth.”

Appointments must be book in advance on-line HERE

It’s not been confirmed where or how many days the test facility will be operating for. Those who are tested should get their results within 48 hours.
