On International Women’s Day two women, who are/have been homeless, won patchwork quilts that had been made by the Ullesthorpe Patchers Group. During the first lockdown members of the group each made a red patch for a 50 Shades of Red quilt which was sewn together once the group got back together in Ullesthorpe Village Hall. In later lockdowns the group members made a 50 Shades of Blue quilt. The raffle was part of an international Women’s Day event run by Action Homeless Leicester.

If you fancy doing some patchwork then why not join the group? For more information click here.
