Knit and Natter

If you fancy doing some knitting or crocheting whilst you are staying at home why not consider doing something for the Warm Baby Project.  They need incubator blankets (20″ x 22″), mitts, booties and hats (tiny for premmie babies).  Once you have made your garments you can post them to Birmingham Children’s Hospital.  More details on Facebook – Warm Baby Project

Why not come and join our Knit and Natter Group. We meet every Monday at the Congregational Church from 12 noon to 3pm and every Tuesday in the Chequers pub, 7pm – 10pm.  You are welcome to come to either or both meetings.

We have a mixture of knitters, crocheters, sewers and cross-stitchers. Just bring along whatever you’re working on and meet up for a friendly chat with like-minded people. Complete beginners for crocheting and knitting are welcome – there will be someone who is able to teach you.

Stuart and Nick, the landlords, very kindly provides cake at the Chequers. Just come along. If you want any further information contact Lesley Chamberlain (afternoons in the village shop).  For more information about Knit and Natter at the Congregational Church contact Viv Galpin on 01455 202774
